He Punished You For Wanting Something
Right, so he banned you. For asking to switch positions. Mid-fuck. That is the bit that makes my eye twitch. Not the ban itself, the timing. You were already naked, already doing the thing, already giving him the version of you that shows up and takes her clothes off and lets him in. And the second you spoke, the second you treated it like something you both get to shape instead of something he gets to run, he shut it down. Finished, rolled off, door closed. That is not a man who got startled. That is a man who does not like being reminded that you have a body with preferences too. He liked the version where you stayed quiet and let him set the pace. The second you opened your mouth and asked for a change, even a small one, he treated it like an offence. Banned. Proper dramatic. Like you had suggested something filthy and illegal instead of the most normal request a person can make when they are already in the middle of it. Men like that exist. They are everywhere. They will fuck you like they own the rights to the whole encounter and the second you act like you have a stake in it they get weird. Not all of them. But enough of them that this letter does not surprise me. The cold is the tell. He did not say no and keep going. He did not laugh and flip you over. He went cold and then punished you with the ban. That is control dressed up as preference. He likes the version of sex where you do not interrupt. Where you do not treat it like a conversation. Where your hips aching or your mood shifting does not get a vote. And you are still thinking about texting him because part of you has been trained to treat his comfort as more important than your own. That is the bit we need to look at.
Why You Still Want The Door That Closed
You want him because the ban made it feel like a prize. That is the ugly little truth. He took the access away and your brain went straight to the bit where you want it back. Not because the sex was life-changing. You already said it was the same loop. You wanted to move because it was starting to feel ordinary. But the second he withdrew it, the ordinary became something you are not allowed to have anymore. And that is how these ones work. They do not have to be brilliant. They just have to be willing to take it off the table the second you act like a person with a request. Your thumb is hovering because you are trying to undo the ban. You are trying to get back to the version where he still wanted you enough to let you through the door. That is not the same as wanting him. That is wanting the rejection to stop. It feels the same in your chest. It is not. You are not thinking about the way he went cold. You are thinking about the fact that he finished anyway and then decided you do not get to come back. That is the hook. The cold plus the ban. It makes you feel like you overstepped when all you did was ask to change position. And now you are sitting there wondering if a text would fix it. If you could say something light and get the door open again. You could. He might even reply. Some of them do. They like the power of deciding whether you are allowed back in. That does not make it a good idea. It makes it the same dynamic with extra steps.
Do Not Text Him To Get Unbanned
Do not text him. Not the sorry version. Not the casual version. Not the one where you pretend you do not care and ask if he is free this weekend. If you text him you are telling him that the ban worked. That asking for something mid-thing is something you will now try to undo with your own silence. That is not flirty. That is not cheeky. That is handing him the remote. You asked to switch positions. That is not a crime. That is not even a big request. People switch positions all the time. Some of them do it without asking. Some of them ask and the other person says yes or no and everyone keeps going. He chose to treat it like a rule break and then ban you. That is on him. Your job is not to fix his reaction. Your job is to notice that a man who goes cold because you spoke during sex is a man who wants you quiet. And quiet is not the same as good. You can want decent sex. You can want a bloke who does not treat your body like a script he wrote. You can want to get on top without having to negotiate your way back in afterwards. None of that requires you to text the one who banned you for the crime of moving. If you are still thinking about him three days later it is because the ban made it feel unfinished. Finish it yourself. Delete the chat. Or leave it and do not open it. Either way stop treating the closed door like something you need to knock on. He showed you what happens when you ask for something. Believe him. There are other doors. Some of them stay open when you speak. Some of them even like it. This one does not. That is the whole reply. You do not need to earn your way back in. You need to stop wanting the one who made asking a problem.
